What is Sunday Funday?
Sunday Funday is a free event management app built for families and friend groups. It makes it easy to create beautiful event pages, collect RSVPs, manage signup lists, and keep everyone on the same page — without the chaos of group texts.
How does household RSVP work?
Instead of everyone responding individually, one person RSVPs for the whole household. When you RSVP, you can mark each family member as attending or not. This keeps the headcount accurate and saves everyone time.
Can I create an event without signing up?
Yes. You can create a full event page with RSVPs, signup lists, and a shareable invite link — no account required. If you sign up later, your events will automatically be linked to your account.
Is Sunday Funday free?
Yes, Sunday Funday is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers, no limits on events, and no ads.
What is AI event generation?
When creating an event, you can describe your gathering in plain language — like "backyard BBQ this Saturday" or "monthly wine night at our place" — and our AI will generate a complete event page with a title, description, suggested times, location, and color theme. You can tweak anything before publishing.
How do signup lists work?
Signup lists let you organize who is bringing what. When you create an event, you can add items people need to bring — like snacks, drinks, chairs, or supplies. Guests claim items so nothing gets doubled up and nothing gets forgotten.
Can I set up recurring events?
Yes. Sunday Funday supports recurring events so you can set up a weekly soccer game, monthly potluck, or any regular gathering once and have it automatically repeat. Each occurrence gets its own RSVP tracking.
How do I share an event?
Every event gets a unique shareable link. Send it via text, email, or any messaging app. Recipients can view the event details, RSVP, and claim signup items — even without a Sunday Funday account.
Does Sunday Funday show weather for my event?
Yes. If your event has a location, Sunday Funday automatically shows the current weather conditions so guests know what to expect and can plan accordingly.
Can I add my event to my calendar?
Yes. Every event has a calendar export option that generates an .ics file compatible with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps.
